Can anyone play at Jamaica Bay Casino?

Technical Set-up
What kind of computer do I need?
We recommend a Pentium 133 MHz with a minimum of 25 MB available on your hard drive and 64 MB RAM (internal memory). Operating system: Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000. Please note the software will not function if Microsoft winsock proxy service is running.
What is the recommended screen setting?
The minimum setting is 800x600 pixels and a minimum of 256 colours. If you play on a lower resolution screen such as 640x480 pixels you will have to scroll to use the game.
Does your software support Macintosh?
No, Macintosh is not supported.
I have a 21-inch screen. Can I get the casino in full size?
Yes, you can select the full screen mode from the appearance option in the entry screen where you select play for fun or play for real.

Gaming Software
How many people can play at one time?
Up to five players can play blackjack at the same table, and up to four players can play roulette. If a gaming room is full, please move to the next room with a vacancy.
Can I play alone even though the games are multi-player?
Yes, you can choose to play alone or if you prefer, with only your friends. By selecting a private table, no one else will be allowed to join your table. By reserving a table, players must ask your permission prior to joining the table.
Is there a built-in chat function?
Yes, you can chat with your fellow players while online.
Since the software is multi-player, can I play more than one hand in blackjack at the same time?
Yes. In full Las Vegas style, you can play up to three hands at once.
On the Las Vegas Strip, most casinos offer you a peak game in blackjack. Does your software perform the peak?
Yes, it does. Blackjack is a 100% peak game. The dealer checks for blackjack on an open ace or ten card.
What are your table spreads in blackjack?
The table betting limits are $1-100, $5-500, or $25-1,000.
How many decks are used in Blackjack and how often does the dealer shuffle?
Jamaica Bay Casino uses six decks that are shuffled after each round.
Can I observe a game without participating?
Yes, you are able to observe any of the available games before you decide to participate.
What is the "betting time"?
The "betting time" is the amount of time a player has to decide his/her play during a turn. For example, the betting time in blackjack is the time you are allowed to make your decision to hit, stand, split, etc.
What happens if the 'betting time' expires before I have carried out an action?
If the betting time expires without the player making any choices, the hand will be played as it is.
Can I play more than one colour in Roulette?
No. Each player can only choose one color.
What are the betting limits in Roulette?
The table betting limits are $1-100, $5-500, and $25-1,000. See the information on "Roulette" under the heading "Betting Limits."
Do your slot machines have progressive jackpots?
Yes, the Gold Pirates slot machines offers progressive jackpots and exciting bonus games.
How can I find out if my friend is also playing online at the casino?

What information do you need about me?
When you first register for the download, we only need your e-mail address.
When you register as a guest, we only require your first name, last name and zip code/postal code. This will allow you to play for fun.
Registration for real money play requires you to provide a full postal address - so we can send your winnings to you. For accreditation and security purposes and to comply with regulations, we also need your daytime phone number, date of birth, credit card information (if you intend to be an active member) and an approved method of identification. Acceptable forms of identification verification are Passport, National ID Card, Driving License, or Birth Certificate.
